Houghton Lodge is a stunning location for weddings and is one of the most romantic Historic Houses in Hampshire. Overlooking the famous chalk stream of The River Test, with panoramic views over the water meadows and along the Test Valley. There is no other house in sight and no where else could offer such picturesque views, such tranquillity for your dream day.
The house is a private family home where the owners offer a welcoming, friendly and amazingly special venue for couples who are looking for a unique and exclusive wedding ceremony and reception.
With two exquisite ceremony rooms and a choice of outside structures including a woodland grotto and a riverside fishing hut, plus formal and informal gardens, acres of meadows and ample space for a marquee by the river, Houghton Lodge Gardens can accommodate small and intimate or larger wedding parties.
The Manor Barn is a privately owned and exclusive wedding and events venue located on the edge of the Stonehenge World Heritage Site. Set in the grounds of a 17th Century Manor House, the brick and flint stone barn has been sympathetically restored to the highest possible standards.
The superbly converted barn blends oak beams with versatile modern facilities. Bright and airy in the summer, warm and cosy in the winter, the barn provides seating for up to 120 wedding guests and a stunning canvas upon which to make your own special mark.
Leyla Jasmin Photography is a professional photographic service that offers a diverse range of packages, all of which can be tweaked to suit your individual preferences. My photographic style can be described as romantic, enchanting and delicate, with an air of documentary style added to the mix. I am a people's person, who loves to become a part of the behind-the-scences of a couple's big day, framing the little moments that happen throughout the special day. Likewise, I am approachable and friendly, making you feel at ease before snapping some photos. When photographing weddings, I will always meet the couple before the wedding day for a cup of coffee to discuss arrangements, ideas and to get to know you all before photographing the special moments!
Weddings, Portraits & Commercial Photography
My approach to wedding photography may be referred to as photojournalistic or reportage. I don't like to interfere too much with what is going on and like to capture real smiles and real tears to capture the true emotions of the day. I like to do a couple shoot (hopefully as the sun sets so the light is lovely and soft!) where I will guide you into 'poses' but I like these photos to look as natural as possible.
I care about all of my clients, it is a huge privilege to be part of such an important day,
